Getting started

Let us guide you through the process of getting home care how you want it.  Parkglen Home Care Services are specialists in-home care and can advise you either on the phone, by email or in person about your wishes and needs and what services we can help you.  Get in touch for a personalised consultation. Our advice is free of charge and you are welcome to select whatever provider you choose after you decide what services you need.  If you choose us to provide your services, we can put a plan in place together with an experienced Services Coordinator.  

We operate a ‘no stranger at your door’ policy where your Services Coordinator will personally introduce you to your support worker before your plan starts.  This plan can change over time as and when your needs do - we’ll be with you every step of the way.

How we can be your Home Care Provider?

You will need to contact My Aged Care and have an assessment with your local Aged Care Assessment Team.  You will then be sent a letter confirming the level of care you have been approved for and placed on a National waiting queue.  When a package becomes available, you will be sent your approval code for funding and be guided to the My Aged Care website to look at providers in your area (or you can call My Aged Care for assistance with this).  All you need to do is let Parkglen Home Care Services know that you want to register your Home Care Package with us and we can start designing your plan with you.

You can register your Home Care Package with Parkglen Home Care Services prior to your approval code so we can get everything ready to start when you are ready.

If you are not eligible for funding, you can still choose to have any home care services privately funded, speak to us about a plan that suits your needs and budget. To get more information on our other services visit retirement living or assisted living pages.
