A bit of background

Annabelle has been married to Noel for 56 years and has 2 children. Originally born in Burma to British parents (who left to escape the war), she arrived in Australia at the age of 7. She lived in Blackburn and worked as a secretary in a bank until retirement.  Annabelle met Noel on a blind date through friends at a dance.

Her Parkglen story

Annabelle moved into Parkglen 10 years ago when her husband Noel’s health was worsening.  A decision, she hasn’t regretted – “not for a day”.  Annabelle and Noel had no trouble settling into life at Parkglen and has no complaints.  She enjoys the social club and runs the raffle monthly, as well as regularly attending the Dinner Dances and luncheons every month.  She said she loves the confidence and friendships Parkglen gives her.  Her motto in life is ‘Take each day as it comes!’
